This Privacy Policy describes how Sudoku ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our Sudoku puzzle application (the "App"), available on Google Play and/or the App Store. We built this App to be simple, offline-friendly, and respectful of your privacy. Please read this policy to understand our practices.
The App is designed to work fully offline, and most of your gameplay data never leaves your device. Depending on the features you use, the following types of information may be involved:

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or contact information to use the core puzzle-solving features of the App.
Because the App is fully playable offline, the vast majority of your data (puzzle grids, notes, statistics, preferences) is stored locally on your device using standard app storage mechanisms and is never transmitted to us or anyone else. This data is removed if you uninstall the App or clear its storage.
If the App includes optional online features — such as crash reporting, analytics, or advertising — those services may collect limited technical data as described below.

The App is suitable for a general audience and is not directed specifically at children under 13 (or the relevant age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If the App is configured to serve ads, we take steps to ensure ads shown to users identified as children comply with applicable regulations (e.g. Google Play Families Policy, COPPA). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect any data that is transmitted or processed through third-party services described above. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Local gameplay data remains on your device until you clear the App's storage or uninstall the App. Any data sent to third-party analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising services is retained according to those providers' own retention policies.
If you use the App from outside the country in which our servers or service providers are located, your information (where applicable, e.g. via analytics or ad services) may be transferred to and processed in other countries, which may have different data protection laws than your own.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
